Good to be in the nation’s capital

The university permits researchers and staff to travel to DC for a day via a plane ride!

Mrs. Donna Borden, a Library of Congress staffer, was my guardian angel during my trip. She was so encouraging and helpful as I made away around this amazing facility.

I met some of the most incredible scholars and employees.

Lovely data.

While in the archive, I looked at maps and other data that will augment my ongoing research on racial and spatial politics on Florida with Zora Neale Hurston partly in view.Screen Shot 2019-10-15 at 7.49.12 PM
